Just got myself an iPhone4 from Paris, tough they are available here in Bangkok but on a waiting list. I used BlackBerry’s and Nokia’s, never any iPhone’s. Since I got a new MacBook Pro 17’ and an iPad the closest to get was an iPhone and sign up for a MobileMe account. And it rocks!! For the phone I downloaded a new apps called TrueHDR, a piece of software which takes three pictures and merges them to the best image. Great results I must admit and I got to try this out during a surprise visit of an old and good friend from the Four Seasons Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. 

Mehmet Gok, the Executive Chef of that hotel was on visit and since we both know David Thompson personally we called him up at his new Nahm Restaurant at the Metropolitan Hotel in Silom Road.
David, a very passionate Australian Chef opened his second Nahm Restaurant after London here in Bangkok, sort of a home-coming. He invited us to sample some dishes from his menu and the dishes just kept coming onto our table. Having the iPhone with me of course I could not hold myself back in taking pictures of this delicious food of ours.

I need to come back to Nahm very soon, not only to enjoy Nahm’s food but also to take pictures of it with my trusted Lumix.

I love the iPhone and I admire David Thompson and Nahm!!

For close to two weeks I was using my new iPad and I was truly and still I am, amazed about the graphic and ease in using a Mac. When next door a new iStore opened and I had a look at other Mac products my eyes fell onto the new MacBook Pro 17″, a machine so supremely build I had to get it!

I therefore write my first posting entirely on a Mac, considering SugarHead will now be on a MacBook!

When my brother came to Bangkok on visit, he brought with him a iPad which just went on sale in Switzerland, together with Germany, France, japan and other countries arounf the world. A 64Gb Wi-Fi unit was about just the right size to use. Having PC based laptop and Desktop I was surely amazed of the graphic and ease this unit displayed. Getting a network is easy, displaying a website is fast and music from iTunes is brilliant. I am looking seriously in investing into a Mac Pro for my future computing, perhaps also the new iPhone 4…

Fried porkneck with chillie and cabbage on a Sunday afternoon is just the right food to begin a lazy day. Thai food for sure offers for everyone a dish, sweet, sour, spicy and salty.
