Like on most Saturdays, the better half of our Middle Eastern weekend, I like the pleasure of a good breakfast, most likely the only meal until dinner. Going out for breakfast will most likely disappoint me; I rather have my first meal at home and cook to my liking.
For this breakfast S prepared a light “stew” with some chicken legs, potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, pork sausage and shallots in a light beef broth topped with a poached egg. All ingredients for a good start in a new day. Crusty bread from Paul was just right to soak up the broth.
