One of my favorite cooking ingredients, apart from freshly grounded black pepper is sea salt, salt of the best quality available. E just brought me this small packet of Truffle sea salt from Switzerland, made in Italy. Opening the small bag revealed an outburst of flavors; it just shocked me at first. Still, after an half an hour the sweet and lovely smell of truffles is still noticeable in the room. Just imagine a few sprinkle of this salt onto your pasta what it does to the taste??
I have never seen this before and I can think of many recipes where this would be great - Where do you find this??
It’s really good on french fries. Just the tiniest amount though.
