
My old buddy, Bernd Butz who used to be a Pastry Chef, changed side and a traitor, is now Executive Chef in China. He sent me these pictures from where he leads a kitchen brigade of a hotel near Shanghai. We met in Bangkok for the first time, and what you do in your free time in Bangkok, we became good buddies, Nana buddies, Soi Cowboy worriers and of course; Pastry Chefs on the loose! That was some time ago but still fresh in our memory. Readers of this Blog may remember Bernd’s visit to Dubai where we freshed up on our clubbing skills, twelve hour marathon and air guitar jamming.
